Kiah and Tara Jean
Kiah
Whether you are staffing a radio station or a ski hill, you must target a minimum number of Australians, otherwise the Ministry will find you under in quota of "G'Day mates", "barbies" and "Vegemite sandwich" references. This is where, to our good fortune, Kiah Tucker comes to the rescue.
A native of Adelaide, Australia Kiah Tucker traded the surfboard for a snowboard and his didgeridoo for a sleeve of Granville Island lager.
Interestingly, Tucker means food in Oz, while the pronunciation of Kiah (Kye) means food in New Zealand. So catch Food Food on Virgin Radio Vancouver weekdays from Noon for lunch, the V-Pod and a bunch of songs Ten-in-a-Row style!
And please, don't be offended if he ever shouts "Hey Hoser, throw one of them shrimp on the grill.", he IS trying hard.
