Q. How do I upload?
A. To submit your entry go HERE

Then sign in to your VIP account.  If you do not have a VIP membership you can sign up for one HERE.

Fill in the blanks. Please note: First names only! You have a chance to upload up to 6 images.

Make sure that your photos are more than 272pixels wide, and is a jpeg (jpg), or they will not appear online.

Then click the button "Submit".

Q. Can I submit more than one image?
A. Yes. When uploading your child's images you have the ability to upload several photos. However, each contestant is limited to only one official entry per child. If you have more than one child, you can enter the contest multiple times, one per child. After the first entry received, any subsequent submissions of the same child by the same person will be disqualified. PLEASE ALLOW 24-48 HOURS for your entry to be visible online.

Q. Can I enter a photo of my niece/nephew/neighbor?
A. Submitters must be the parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo submission and be prepared to show documentation to prove this fact. A birth certificate, passport, etc...

Q. How old is a "kid"?
A. For the purposes of this contest, The child in the photograph must be ten (10) years of age or younger as of the last day of entry, August 3, 2012.

Q. How will the photos be judged? And to what extent is the rating involved in the judging process?
A. Fifteen entries will be selected based on their total number of "likes". In order to give late submissions a fair opportunity to compete, five additional entries will be selected by an impartial panel of judges. The decisions of the judges are final and entrants agree to be bound by these decisions. 

The winner of the Grand Prize  will be determined during the final voting round by a combination of the online voting through vancouver.virginradio.ca and votes from our impartial panel of judges. There will be three impartial judges and the ratings tool which will combine to give each finalist an evenly weighted 4-part score. In the event of a tie, Virgin Radio will determine the winner.

Q. What is the submission deadline?
A. You can submit your photos until  at 11:59 pm (PST) on August 3, 2012. All entries received after this time will be considered invalid.

Q. What are the contest timelines?  
A. Photos will be available to be rated from 12:01pm (PST) August 4, 2012 until 5:00 pm (PST) on August 20, 2012. LIKES BEFORE THIS DATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Please refer to the RULES.

At 8:00 am on August 21, 2012 the top twenty (20) finalists will be announced. Online votes for the top twenty (20) finalists will be accepted at vancouver.virginradio.ca from approximately 8:00 am August 21, 2012 until 11:59 pm on August 23, 2012.

The winner will be announced on Friday, August 24, 2012.
