Another relative newcomer, bassist Reginald Veal has alternated with Robert Leslie Hurst III on recent Wynton Marsalis' dates and tours. Veal began recording with Marsalis in the mid-'80s and has appeared on Standard Time, Vols. 2 and 3, The Majesty of the Blues, Crescent City Christmas, Uptown Ruler, Levee Low Moan, Tune In Tomorrow, Blue Interlude and Citi Movement.
