A somewhat shorter but easier-to-find compilation of Jackie Trent's music than the older RPM Records release, Where Are You Now My Love also offers remastered sound. Otherwise, the virtues and the drawbacks are the same. Trent isn't that interesting a singer and, absent a perfect song such as the title cut (which made it to number one in England), her records -- though pretty -- tend to drag where, say, Petula Clark's records from this era are interesting and entertaining across every second of their lengths.
