Album Review

Gloriously good-natured rock on this Y2K release (finding the band on yet another label). The key ingredients in the mix are good hooks, songs that mix in a delightful variety of styles, and the willingness to put across on record that they're having a plain good time in the studio while getting the tunes down. The grassroots support they've been building up is going to go a long way towards overcoming the good-but-not-great tag -- the world needs more hard-working good-time bands with great hooks and senses of humor.
