Album Review

Test Patterns has an intriguing release concept: The disc only features two new songs, but what would otherwise be a CD single is augmented with a retrospective of Bim Skala Bim's music-video career, featuring six enhanced clips in all. While the two new songs are good -- "Hardest of the Parts" is catchy and danceable, and "373" features Morphine's Dana Colley on baritone sax -- fans will probably be drawn more to the videos, which are playable on any CD-ROM drive and are generally quite difficult to locate.
