Album Review

Several years after Bomb Hip-Hop's Return of the DJ compilations did much to resurrect the lost art of turntablism, the label is back to attack with Revenge of the B-Boy, a collection of electro, old-school, and breakbeat tracks designed expressly for body-lockers and disco-dancers. Including producers and DJs from all over the world (and many return appearances from the Return of the DJ discs), the album includes a standout track, "The All Out Kid" by DJs Faust and Shortee, plus tracks by Jeep Beat Collective, DJ Format, and relative newcomers like Hydroponic Sound System and Clockwork Voodoo Freaks.
