Guitarist
Sal Salvador, who had not recorded as a leader since 1963, recorded much more frequently starting in 1978. This obscure LP matches the bop-based guitarist in a pretty modern setting with keyboardist
Neil Slater, bassist
Rick Petrone and drummer
Joe Corsello. The repertoire includes a few standards (such as "There Will Never Be Another You" and "I'm Old Fashioned") plus three of
Salvador's originals and a few obscurities. Although the results are not as essential as
Salvador's later Stash recordings, the music is worthwhile.
