From Up Above is an annual summer community musical benefit event put on by a charity called For the Love of A Child. This event is used to promote local performing artists and the performing arts, provide free oudoor community entertainment while promoting local businesses through sponsorships it also helps fundraise and support the ongoing physical needs of a young bone cancer survivor and amputee, who aspires to be a performing artist. This event will run rain or shine and Chair and tents will be provided as well as food, drinks and activities as resources allow. Everyone is welcome!  Donations are welcomed and accepted in any form; cash, cheques, and change.

When: Saturday, July 21st from 12-8 pm 

Where: Langley Outdoor Spirit Square, 20550 Douglas Cresent, Douglas Park

Performing artists: Jim Abbott, Even Keel, Jackie Maksymiw, Andrew MacDougall, Daphne, Rod Swanson, Nic Parsons & Sweet Swing BC. Artists include dancers, instrumentalists, vocalists and bands and music ranges from blues, classical, contemporary, gospel, swing, jazz and rock.
