A tragic jet ski accident has left Usher’s stepson brain dead. Kyle Glover, 11, was riding an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta on Friday and was struck in the head by a passing jet ski. Glover was riding with a 15 year old girl who has suffered a broken arm and a cut to her head.

Usher’s stepson was admitted to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta immediately and since then has not shown any brain activity. MTV News has reported the driver of the jet ski was a friend of the family, Jeffrey S. Hubbard.

"Tameka and Usher don't get along, but in this circumstance Usher is coming to her side," a source told Us. "Usher practically raised Kyle as his own. He's known him for seven years. It is so sad what happened."

Holmes’ lawyer released a statement saying, “The case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life."

Reps from Team Tom advised, “We are very pleased to confirm that the divorce action between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has been amicably settled. The terms of the settlement are confidential. The parties have issued a joint statement regarding this resolution. We will have no further comment."

Very sad news for Vancouver today, our very own celebrity chef Anthony Sedlak has died at the age of 29. The cause of death was an undiagnosed medical condition. The young and talented chef was found in his North Vancouver apartment Friday night around 7pm.

Sedlak had accomplished more than most of us could hope for during his short 29 years. He was the host of Food Network Canada’s “The Main” for 4 seasons as well as a judge on “Family Cook Off”. At 19 he had completed his culinary training and a 4-year apprenticeship at Vancouver Community College. After graduating Sedlak worked at La Tompette in London for 2 years.
