An icon in the hair styling world, Vidal Sassoon has passed away at the age of 84.
He was diagnosed in 2009 with leukemia however it is unclear if his illness had any effect on his death. Reports say Sassoon died from an unspecified illness at his home.
At the time of his death his family was by his side. Sassoon was married 4 times and had 3 children. His most recent wife, Rhonda Sassoon, was with him until he passed.
Sassoon is credited with creating the famous “bob” haircut and was a maven in the hair world.
Rihanna was so sick she was admitted to the hospital?!
The “Where Have You Been” singer performed on Saturday Night Live over the weekend and skipped dress rehearsal because she felt ill. The producers of the show were very upset saying she didn’t appear to be sick however now perhaps they will change their tune.
Rihanna took to Twitter to post a photo of her arm with an IV. She has been feeling under the weather for a few days now but has pushed through to appear at events. Especially at the Met Gala, looking stunning in a very covered up black Tom Ford crocodile embossed dress.
Clearly very irritated with her illness she tweeted, “***k bein sick!”
This isn’t the first time the singer has been admitted and given an IV. Last November she cancelled two shows in Stockholm due to fatigue.

Last night was the season finale for The Voice. It was down to Jermaine Paul, Tony Lucca, Chris Mann and Juliet Simms. Who won?

The heartthrob who left his job as a back up singer for Alicia Keys had this to say when he was announced as the winner, “I just want to say thank you for all the people that voted for me. My wife, my children, my father, my mother, my mother-in-law." Paul has earned not only the coveted title of The Voice winner but also $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Records.
Juliet Simms was a very close second with Paul beating her by a mere 4%.

Jessica Simpson is loving being a mother so far!
She updated her over 5 million Twitter followers on Tuesday to mention everything was going well. She tweets, “I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced."
The 31 year old, Fashion Star mentor, welcomed her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson May 1. Maxwell weighed in at 9lbs, 13 oz.
Turns out Jessica is a complete natural when it comes to motherhood. A source told Us Magazine, "Everyone is marveling at what a natural Jessica is. She was born to be a mom!"

He has recently been accused of sexual battery and harassment and now an additional person has come forward. Travolta allegedly engaged in improper behavior during a massage at anAtlanta area resort. The first incident is said to have occurred in a bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel in January.
Marty Singer, Travolta’s lawyer, told People Magazine, "This second 'anonymous' claim is just as absurd and ridiculous as the first one…since our client was not in L.A. when anonymous 'Doe #1' claims he interacted with John Travolta."
The accusers are looking for $2 million, each.
