Mariah Carey is a superstar and according to her, she doesn’t need any co-judges, she can do it all by herself.

The diva was quite talkative while flying from NYC to LA on Thursday and when TMZ.com asked about the tension between her and Nicki Minaj, the singer brushed it off,   "What tension? There's no tension!"

Hours later when touching down in NYC, the cameraman suggests that she could judge American Idol by herself, the confident mother of twins responded, "Naturally ... why not?"

One thing is for sure, she will definitely be entertaining on this seasons American Idol, regardless who’s on the panel with her.
