American Idol Loses Another Judge

Bye Bye AI

Things are getting intense on the set of American Idol.

Not only have they failed to fill up the judge’s table, but now it looks like one of the original judges will no longer be returning.

TMZ.com has reported that Randy Jackson will not be returning as a judge on American Idol but will remain on the show as a mentor.

A source close to the reality hit show says that this has caused some concern seeing that Randy is the “glue” that holds the show together.

As for his replacement, the gossip website says that Nicki Minaj is pretty much a done deal.

Rumors that Kanye West and Diddy were in talks with the show are false and the rappers will not be joining Mariah Carey.

The 12th season of American Idol, which premieres in January of 2013, will feature 4 judges on the panel compared to the previous season when there were only 3.

Sad day indeed. Randy was the ONLY judge that knew what he was talking about and didn't put himself ahead of the contestants like the rest seem to have. Most seem to forget its NOT about the judges, but rather its about the undiscovered talent
