Rumors of a Katy Perry and John Mayer romance have heated up after the couple was photographed leaving Chateau Marmont on Wednesday night.

A witness tells US Weekly that there was no denying the meeting was romantic and the two singers were seen holding hands across the table while sneaking kisses.

Katy Perry , who recently divorced from Get Him To The Greek actor Russell Brand, has apparently had a thing for Mayer since September of 2009 at a run in at Golbar in NYC.

John is a notorious serial dater whose exes include Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
