Matthew Fox had a civil suit filed against him by a buy driver. The alleged party bus incident was based on the accusation that the Lost star punched the female driver in her chest and groin.

She has now dropped the personal injury complaint.

Why!?

Turns out Heather Bormann, the driver, failed to pay her lawyer the requisite fees to cover the resources he would have put into defending her. "It would take time and money that she couldn't afford," says her lawyer. "She probably caved in and that is the end of it."

Fox has also dropped his countersuit against Bormann. This news couldn’t have come at a better time for Fox as his costar, Dominic Monaghan, responded to a Twitter fan, “He beats women. No thanks.”

Fox’s reps have not commented.
