Jessica Simpson gave People magazine exclusive rights to the first photos of her new baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson.

This week’s issue has an exclusive interview with Simpson and her soon to be husband Eric Johnson. She tells People everything has changed, “From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!"  The new mom says Maxwell has her eye and her dad’s calm demeanor.

Simpson also touches on her C-section recovery and adjusting to breast-feeding. "It's the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her," says Simpson. "I miss holding her and having that closeness.”
