Jessica Simpson is loving being a mother so far!

She updated her over 5 million Twitter followers on Tuesday to mention everything was going well. She tweets, “I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced."

The 31 year old, Fashion Star mentor, welcomed her first child with fiancé Eric Johnson May 1.  Maxwell weighed in at 9lbs, 13 oz.

Turns out Jessica is a complete natural when it comes to motherhood. A source told Us Magazine, "Everyone is marveling at what a natural Jessica is. She was born to be a mom!"
