One of The Voice’s favorite coaches, CeeLo Green, wasn’t always so cool and collected.

It's been revealed that back in 2001, he faced charges after smashing the window of his Jaguar with a wooden statue after during an argument with his then-wife, Christina Johnson.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and simple assault charges and spent two days in jail after skipping out on his arraignment.

After pleading no contest, the Crazy singer was put on a year’s probation in which he faced random drug testing and domestic violence counseling.

The couple was divorced in 2004, and the singer has since dealt with his anger, claiming that music is what calmed a “savage beast.”
