Health Canada says Molly Moo dolls are being recalled because they pose a choking hazard for young children.

The nose of several of the dolls detached from the face; the small bead-like component could choke children if they put it in their mouths.

The doll, marketed by Royal Specialty Sales, is about 30 centimetres tall with orange hair.

The doll wears shoes, a skirt and a hat in a black-and-white cow-skin pattern; the word "cows" is embroidered on the hat.

There have been no reports of injuries related to the dolls in Canada.

Dolls affected by the recall can be identified by the model number P735800 and the UPC number 0 00000 09050 6.
