The 2012 Pride Parade goes Sunday, August 5 at 12pm, through downtown Vancouver. Canuck Manny Malhotra is maching in the parade this year for You Can Play, an organization dedicated to eliminating homophobia in sports.

Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) continues alternating performance of Titanic (the new musical) and Music Man at Malkin Bowl, in Stanley Park.
Saturday's (August 4) show starts early, at 7pm because of the fireworks.
If you're are one of the 10-thousand people involved with over 66 seasons of TUTS, it's Alumni Night on Monday, August 6.
(Tickets are $10 off the regular seat price and include a hosted pre-show, an intermission reception and special tribute to Cliff Cox, one of the original board members of the Theatre Under the Stars Musical Society. A scholarship will be named in his honour. )
