You are NOT alone.

It's an earworm.

In fact, researchers at The Helsinki Institute for Information Technology say 'Call Me Maybe' is probably the most 'earwormiest' song in history.
An earworm is the recent name for the phenomen of getting a song, or piece of music stuck in your head.
Researchers say the strongest earworms create images/picture in our head, and our brain associaties the song with a memory,  or experience.
'Call Me Maybe' creates those images in numbers that are off the charts!!!
By the way, women catch earworms more than men and younger generations have the bug more frequently than older folks.
