Hooray for Special K! (UK)
Kellogg’s (in the UK) has announced it's going to is to ditch its Special K slender models for the first time in 25 years in favour of plus-sized ‘real’ women.
The cereal firm says it hopes the move would allow women to see the lifestyle benefits of losing weight, rather than just focusing solely on body shape.

This change really resonnates with me because of my current weight loss journey. I've lost 60 pounds, with the goal to lose 20 more. Along the way, I've really given thought to why I want to lose weight. Of course looking good is a BIG part of it...but my health is the number 1 reason I want to lose weight.
Researchers say that lowering body weight can reverse or prevent diabetes; lower blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels; and improve sleep apnea. These same scientists estimate that 90% of all diabetes, 80% of heart disease, and 60% of cancers are preventable with healthier lifestyles and normal body weights.
Beyond skinny jeans...and a bikini...those are some pretty good reasons to lose weight!!!!
I'm finally back on track with the Pound A Day program. Yipee!!!! The first week (in my case, I'll admit, it took two) is like a detox. You cut out carbs and sugars, and that's not easy. But it does get easier. Eventually the cravings disappear, and you just feel good.
And you feel REALLY, REALLY good when the pounds start dropping!!!!
