Don't cook dinner tonight!

Go out for dinner, and support 'Eat for Education'.

Tonight (May 2) several restaurants on Main Street in Vancouver and Lynn Valley in North Vancouver will donate a percantage of profits to local schools to support access to technology and outdoor education.
Schools participating in 2012 are: Simon Fraser Elementary, Florence Nightingale Elementary, Mount Pleasant Elementary and Lynn Valley Elementary.
Event co-ordinator Jackie Ingram says "For everyone involved it feels like a natural fit. At a time when restaurants are potentially slow (midweek in early May) we can bring in new clientele from each neighbourhood knowing that some of their money will go back into the school coffers to directly help children in the community improve their education".
