Thanks to new copyright laws, if you’re planning a wedding, it just got a little more expensive.
The new law says that you have to pay a licensing fee for any recorded music you play at an event. That includes parades, fireworks displays, ice shows and yes, wedding receptions. The fee isn’t huge – only $9.25 for events with under 100 people, but the fee does double if there’s dancing. How weird is that? It's like we're all living in Footloose.!
