My new "BFF" is....Date #6, Joanna Wates!

I begrudginly thank Kiah for arranging "10 Dates In 10 Days - the BFF edition", 'cause even though he made a LOT of fun of me, it was amazing to spend time with other women (especially the Mamas!). It has reminded me, as a working mother and wife, how important it is to make time for myself....once in a while, at least.

Thank you to ALL my lunch-dates! You were so open to friendship and meeting someone new! I hope you all enjoyed yourself as much as I did, and that we keep in touch!

BFF; Controversy!

Hey, It's Tara Jean here.

 

Kiah is sending me on "10 DATES IN 10 DAYS" because he thinks I need a new BFF. It's true, since becoming a working-mother and wife, I have struggled to maintain my friendships!

 

As of Monday night, I've been on 6 of the 10 lunch dates (all amazing and fun), everyone handpicked by Kiah from an amazing bunch of entrants.

 

But I've noticed over the last 24 hours, several listeners have been suggesting that Kiah is NOT doing a good job! What!? Why have they been suggesting this? Is it because all my potential BFF's have been mothers? I think it makes a lot of sense to set me up with other mothers. Could it be because they've all been...Female? I'm perfect open to a male-bff...however, i think it would be appropriate if he was gay and highly-fashionable. ;)

Hey, It's Tara Jean!

 

I'm currently on an amazing adventure: "10 DATES IN 10 DAYS - the BFF edition"!

 

My co-host Kiah is the master-mind behind the whole thing, and he (surprisingly) put some forthought into the planning by making reservations at restaurants that are participating in Dine Out Vancouver!

 

You can dine out at Vancouver's BEST restaurants, with three course menus, for $18, $28, or $38!

 

I've already been on 5 of my 10 lunch dates (Chop, CinCin, Oishii, Edible Canada, & Society)!
